Hello world, my name is Irene Benavides, partner and founder of Colorful Birding.
I have always loved traveling and organizing trips. I have worked in tourism since I came of age, however, at one point, life took me down another path and I left my passion behind for a while.
A few years ago, when I traveled to the Manu National Park for the first time, that little flame that I had hidden and that passion for organizing trips rekindled. Also, on that same trip, my husband discovered wildlife photography and that is how his passion for it was born.
After some time, my husband and I found a way to bring together and dedicate ourselves to both passions, travel planning and wildlife photography, and “Colourful Birding” was born.
