The Green and white Hummingbird is a medium-sized bird of the Trochilidae family, found in middle elevations, with green upperparts and white underparts, and a variably pinkish lower mandible. It is mainly found in humid forests and around forest edges. It can be differentiated from the White-bellied Hummingbird by its completely dark underside of the tail, sometimes darker lower mandible, and closer association with forested habitats. This bird can be observed on tours to the Manu National Park.
